Know Before You Go:
- Many neighborhoods have marked entry and exit points, so be sure to check you map to make sure you are arriving with the flow of traffic.
- Make a mandatory bathroom stop for everyone, especially if you are planning to visit during peak hours when you could be stuck in traffic for a while.
- Avoid the crowds by going early in the season, or sometime in the week after Christmas
- Gas up the car before you go.
- Bring along plenty of snacks and drinks.
- Check the weather: many displays will not be lit just after heavy rain.
