I had to skip this place due to the kids feeling under the weather and all the added difficulty of federal lands being shut during my Albuquerque. Your photos make me even more sad to have missed it 🙂 I guess there’s always next time! How did the kids like it?

This is EXACTLY the type of place that my family could spend hours at. It kind of reminds me of The Orange Show in that it celebrates folk art.

Many years ago I adopted “I did all this while you were watching T.V.” as my own personal watchword–hey, that”d make a great T-shirt!!! I was born in Albuquerque and have been back many times–Tinker Town is the kind of place that is more than worth the time it takes to experience it–thanks for the great photo essay! :o)
