Traveling can be a glamorous, exhilarating, and awe-inspiring pursuit, but packing to travel is none of those things. In fact, the when I am elbow deep in suitcases there is always a moment when I swear under my breath that traveling isn’t worth it. Of course, once I’m off exploring, I quickly forget the packing pains…that is, until the next time, when I am reminded of the misery of packing all over again.
Packing doesn’t have to be the monster that steals the traveling joy. With the right tips and tricks, you can successfully pack for any trip. I’ve shared some of my best tips for packing for the trips and travels that we have experienced, but there is still so much for me to learn. So, I decided to get a little help from my friends-experienced travelers and moms and all around gurus about all things packing. Over the next several weeks and months, they are going to graciously let us peek into their suitcases and share their insider tips for making packing easier.
